The Role:
The Finance Manager will manage and direct all consumer loan functions for the Five Star family of companies. This position will be the intermediary between the customer and the various lending institutions that are used, and working with key stakeholders, develop an overall company strategy as is relates to consumer financing.
Responsibilities:
- Interviews hires and trains new staff in the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Develop relationships with financing companies and service technicians to allow for a seamless experience from the customer’s perspective regarding the financing process.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the financing function ensuring the completion of all loan documentation prior to work beginning.
- Ensure all required documentation is gathered to ensure payment at the completion of the job and meet audit requirements of financing companies.
- Gather and analyze data regarding loan approval rates.
- Ensure compliance with the manufacturer’s rebate programs and audit rebate payments.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma required. Two years post high school study in business, finance or accounting preferred.
- 2-3 years’ experience, with at least 1 year managing a staff.
- Experience working with companies that operate multi-site, multi-state operations.
- Analytical and a problem-solver.
- Strong group presentation and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
